What Do We Do With The Funds
From The Golf Tournament?
With the proceeds from the SNARSCA 2008 Chilly Willy Golf Tournament, SNARSCA will continue its gifts to the student and adult HVAC/R education program(s) and scholarships in southern Nevada. And SNARSCA will continue its annual gift to the Nevada Subcontractors Association (NSA) with the proceeds from this tournament.
Beginning this year, SNARSCA has embarked on a multiyear program to establish a HVAC/R endowment at the Community College of Southern Nevada (CCSN).
For every $10,000 contributed to the CCSN Foundation, an annual $1,000 CCSN HVAC/R scholarship will be created and awarded to a student interested in HVAC/R training and education by the school.
Over a ten year period, SNARSCA intends to donate $10,000 a year from the Chilly Willy tournament to the CCSN foundation. It is hoped to establish a $100,000 endowment that by 2017 provides ten (10) $1,000 scholarships to CCSN HVAC/R students on an annual basis.
