Third Annual Mission Cool Off Program Begins
The Nevada State Contractors Board (NSCB) and the Southern Nevada Air Conditioning
Refrigeration Service Contractors Association (SNARSCA) are pleased to announce the start of
the 2008 Third Annual Mission Cool Off Program. This year three households will be
chosen to have their air conditioning units replaced free of charge with new ones.
The program is limited to no more than 100 applications received between
February 1-29, 2008. Selections will be made depending on a person’s or family’s special
needs. The program is not open to Tenants, Landlords, Owners who do not reside at the
residence or Mobile Home Owners.
An Application and Homeowner Waiver and Media Release form can be downloaded from

The Nevada State Contractors Board has the responsibility to promote quality construction

Six Households Were Chosen
The Nevada State Contractors Board and the Southern Nevada Air Conditioning Refrigeration Service Contractors Association (SNARSCA) are pleased to announce six households that were chosen in the 2nd Annual Mission Cool Off program to either have their cooling units replaced or repaired by a volunteer of the Southern Nevada Air Conditioning Refrigeration Service Contractors Association.
The families that will receive free new air conditioners include: Janet Walker, Ellen Randolph, Linda Luebeck and Louise Modarelli. Jack West and Ana Maria Cuadra will have their units repaired for free.
The program was limited to the first 100 applications received between Jan. 26 and Feb. 23, 2007. Selections were made by Nevada State Contractors Board and SNARSCA representatives, based upon a family’s special circumstances or needs
The following SNARSCA member companies have either donated equipment or their time for the 2nd Annual Mission Cool Off program: Sun Country Heating and Cooling, Carl’s Air Conditioning and Sheet Metal, Southwest Air Conditioning, Taylor Refrigeration, US Airconditioning Distribution, Dick Worthen Distributing and Universal Refrigeration.

The Nevada State Contractors Board and the Southern Nevada Air Conditioning Refrigeration Service Contractors Association (SNARSCA) are pleased to announce three households that were chosen in the Mission Cool Off program to either have their cooling units repaired or replaced by a volunteer of the Southern Nevada Air Conditioning Refrigeration Service Contractors Association.
The families are: Gladys and Willis Morrison of Henderson, Jack Farley of Las Vegas and Gloria Jones of North Las Vegas.
The program was limited to three households chosen from the first 100 applications received between May 16 and June 16, 2006. Selections were made by Nevada State Contractors Board and SNARSCA representatives, based upon a family’s special circumstances or needs. Repairs are currently being scheduled by SNARSCA.
The following SNARSCA member companies have either donated equipment or their time for the Mission Cool Off program: US Air Conditioning Distributors, Inc.; Right Now Air-Conditioning; Rebel Refrigeration; Iverson Crane; M.S.I (Material Supply, Inc); Chazell Air Conditioning; Universal Refrigeration, Inc.; Sahara Air Conditioning & Heating, Inc.; Hi-Lo Air; and Southwest Air Conditioning Service, Inc.

THREE households will be chosen to either have their cooling units repaired or replaced by a

Association (SNARSCA).
- Mission Cool Off selections will be made depending on a person’s or family’s special circumstances or needs.
- Mission Cool Off is limited to no more than 100 applications received by Friday June 16, 2006.
- A Mission Cool Off Application and Media Release form must be filled out and returned by Friday June 16, 2006. The media release form must accompany the application.
